About the Commercial Association of Brokers

In 1993, a group of Commercial Brokers whose main focus was on commercial properties came together to create a venue where commercial real estate was the main focus. The founding members, including our first CAR President, William Barendrick, formed an offshoot of PMAR to create the Greater Portland/Vancouver Commercial Association of REALTORS®, which now goes by the Commercial Association of Brokers.

The Commercial Association of Brokers strives for excellence in the services provided to its members and continues to develop new services that will aid in the business of the Commercial Broker. Today, CAB exceeds 700 Commercial Broker members who provide their clients with the information needed to make the best choices about their purchases, investments, and management opportunities.
